English

One thing that is unique about Automotive is the English electives we offer students during their junior and senior years. Courses we have offered  include Latino Literature, African-American Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, Radio Journalism, Hip-Hop Poetry and the Classics, and Shakespeare Alive.

Our Regents scores tell us that students are performing at higher levels than ever because classes are now more relevant and accessible to them.

Social Studies

How do we make the study of history relevant and engaging? How do we guide students to become active participants of history? How do we produce individuals who are socially responsible? These are but a few questions that guide our study of history.

Music and Art

Students at Automotive are exposed to a rigorous art curriculum, which includes introduction to music, theater, band, choir, and dance. Last year we had our second school concert and our first musical.  This year we look forward to even more programming. Want to find out more? Please come and visit us!
